Elsa y Fred is a gastro bar in the Born area of Barcelona.

This place is really nice, attentive staff and always with a smile.

The decoration is really charming and cosy as you can see on the picture ( my favorite table is tho one with the leather chair next to the chimney).

 

The food is really good, original and well presented. Loved the pumpkin ravioli with manchego cheese sauce and sun dried tomatoes and for the dessert I can't resist to the apple crumble and red berries with frozen yogurt ... all great and creative!

Sometimes on the Sunday, I also just stop to enjoy a homemade lemonade and the AMAZING carrot cake!!

 

Definitely one of my favorite place in Barcelona.
